The Best Sledding Day
Okay, the kids convinced Scott & I that we should all go sledding. Never mind that I don't have outdoor clothes. Never mind that we only have 3 sleds (2 now!) and have to drive the car & truck to the park to sled. We went...I borrowed snow pants/jacket from Laura Next Door and we loaded up. I think Leah was tired by the time we walked from the car, crossed the steam & climbed the hill. The first couple of trips down were uneventful until Scott sliced open the bottom of the kid's smaller sled on his way down. Oh well, it still worked for sledding this time. Our choice of sledding hills was the closest (although maybe not the safest). The bottom of the hill features a stream if you are lucky enough to go that direction. The other feature is a small wooded area with trees and shrubs. I bet you can guess where this is headed...yes, I am the one that sped down the hill and crashed into the shrubs going backwards. I had to wait for help to pull me out. I was stuck! Fortunately I am fine expect for a few bumps on my head where my barrett smashed into the shrub/small tree. Upon our return home, Seth claimed it was his best sledding day EVER!
